Si i lajnë duart astronautët në hapësirë? (video)

Trust an astronaut to turn an everyday task into a party trick!
When asked during a question and answer session beamed back from space how he washed his hands without the aid of gravity, astronaut Chris Hadfield wowed students with his answer.

A clean-handed astronaut is a happy astronaut.

Picking up a pouch of no-rinse soap, the International Space Station commander squeezed out the mix of hot and cold water and soap into the cabin. Then, as if by magic, the transparent blob floated around in front of his eyes until he brought it down onto his hand.
After massaging the glob with both hands, Hadfield then picked up a towel to dry off.

Lack of gravity makes washing hands a tricky proposition in space.

The towel was then tucked away to air dry so that the evaporated water could get back into the space station and be used again.
“The process is sort of like being in a sailboat and you need a clean, it’s kind of the same thing,” Hadfield said.
The video, released by the Canadian Space Agency and posted on YouTube, has had more than 900,000 hits.
